Mason County Land Bank Authority
The Mason County Land Bank Authority (MCLBA) was created as a tool to help return blighted properties to productive use. Land banks can assist in the remediation of tax reverted properties and apply for grants specific to land banks in Michigan.
RFP OPPORTUNITIES
RFP for abatement and demolition service: The Mason County Land Bank Authority is requesting proposals for abatement and demolition service for the former Scottville Schoolhouse at 209 N. Main Street, Scottville, MI. Click here for more information and bid form. Also available are the Asbestos, Lead/Cadmium Paint and Universal Waste Inspection Reports for the Scottville Schoolhouse. The work will be conducted under a Blight Elimination Program Grant received by the Mason County Land Bank Authority through the State Land Bank Authority with funding from the federal government. As such, there are specific stipulations and requirements; however, because this project is limited to demolition, Davis Bacon does NOT apply. Proposals are due Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
