AUCTION ROUND 1:
Properties foreclosed upon for the non-payment of 2021 and/or prior
years property taxes by the order of the 51st Circuit Court on
April 1, 2024 will be offered at public auction.
More information will be available beginning in
April at the Mason County Treasurer's Office.

The above website is provided by Title-Check LLC, the company who conducts
the auction, and provides sale information and sale conditions. Information about
the properties to be sold will appear at the above website.
Auction date will be scheduled by July each year.
FOLLOW-UP, ROUND 1 SALE:
Properties that did not have a successful conveyance from Auction Round 1
will be offered in a second “First Round” public auction.
This sale will take place between the end of Round 1 sales and prior to Round 2.
The minimum bid from Round 1 will be retained for these parcels.
AUCTION ROUND 2:
Unsold properties that remain from Auction Round 1 and the Follow-Up
Round 1 Sale that were foreclosed upon for the non-payment of 2020
and/or prior years property taxes by the order of the 51st Circuit Court
on April 1, 2024 will be offered at a no reserve public auction.
Beginning with 2021 foreclosure sales and transfers, a person that intends to make a claim for excess sales proceeds must complete and return the above form after notarization to the Mason County Treasurer's Office by July 1 in the year of foreclosure. This notice must be delivered via certified mail, return receipt requested, or by personal service. Completing and returning this form evidences intent to make a future claim but is not itself a claim for sales proceeds. As in prior years, the Mason County Treasurer has arranged for tax-foreclosed properties to be sold at an online auction conducted by Title-Check LLC. Specific information concerning the sale, including a list of properties, may be obtained by contacting:
