The Mason County Zoning Board of Appeals will be meeting for the following request:
Thomas & Elaine Engelsman have requested a variance on a property located in the Recreation Residential (RR) zoning district, Logan Township, parcel 008-720-290-00, access 4865 Deer Cove Rd. The request is for a 7' variance from the required 69' front yard setback to place a detached accessory building within the front yard.
Clinton Ginn has requested a variance on a property located in the Agricultural (AG) zoning district, Sherman Township, parcel 013-028-015-00, access 2094 E Sugar Grove Rd. The request is for an approval to expand and modify and existing nonconforming structure (detached accessory building) by 174 square feet and change the use of the structure from an accessory building used for personal storage to an accessory dwelling unit. Also requested is a 32’ variance from the required 66’ front yard setback to establish an accessory dwelling unit within an existing nonconforming detached accessory building located 34' from the road right-of-way.
