    In addition to regular business, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for:

    Carter Lumber is requesting a special land use permit to expand an existing open-air business with a new 6.5 acre fenced-in storage area (480’ X 600’ approximate) for various items related to lumber and construction. The parcel is located in the C-2 zoning district in Amber Township, PART OF W 1/2 OF SW 1/4 OF SEC 15 T18N R17W, 26.50 A M/L. Parcel 001-015-045-00.  This parcel has no address; it is located directly behind Carter Lumber (2323 W. US-10 HWY) and has road frontage along the east side of S. Stiles Road.
