    The Mason County Zoning Board of Appeals will be meeting for the following request:

    Ben Norton has requested a 139’ variance from the required 200’ front setback to construct a detached accessory building within the front yard. The subject property is located in the Rural Estates (RE) zoning district, Sherman Township, Parcel 013-020-003-50, access 1030 E Mavis Rd Scottville.

    Visscher Construction has requested an approval to rebuild an existing 8' x 24' nonconforming deck 10' into the required 25' front yard setback. The subject property is located in the Recreational Residential (RR) zoning district, Branch Township, Parcel 002-008-010-00, access 631 Benson Rd Fountain.

    MD Home Services LLC has requested an 8' variance from the required 24' minimum width requirement at time of placement for a single - family dwelling in order to place a 16' x 32' shed with the plan to construct a 16' x 20' addition to be turned into a dwelling with a 12' x 16' deck. The subject property is located in the Agricultural (AG) zoning district, Amber Township, Parcel 001-020-029-00, access 1144 S Dennis Rd Ludington.
