Mason County Master Plan

The Mason County Master Plan Update was adopted by the Mason County Board of Commissioners on November 12, 2013. Mason County is currently in the process of updating the 2013 plan. The public is welcome to provide feedback at the upcoming Planning Commission meetings where the Master Plan Update will be discussed. Please contact the Mason County Planning and Zoning Office for more details regarding the dates and times of these meetings. 

The next Master Plan Update meeting is scheduled for June 16, 2020

The next meeting for the Master Plan Update is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, beginning at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be located at 5300 W. US-10, Ludington. The Planning Commission will be discussing the complete draft of the Master Plan update. If no further changes are suggested, the Planning Commission will recommend that the County Board to adopt a resolution for the distribution of the draft Master Plan to neighboring communities and relevant agencies. Following the 42 day review, a Public Hearing will be held to receive feedback of the plan before formal adoption.Please contact the zoning office with any questions regarding this meeting.
