    • The Mason County Department of Public Works will meet on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 3:30 p.m.  in the Conference Room of  the Mason County Zoning and Drains Office, 102 E. Fifth Street, Scottville.  This meeting is open to the public.

      The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold the following public hearings:

      Power Home Solar has requested a variance to place a 9' x 16'7" x 9'5" detached accessory structure (ground mounted solar panel) in the front yard, 29'4" from the front lot line. The subject property is located in the Mixed Use Transitional (C-3) zoning district, Victory Township, parcel 015-024-010-80, access 3945 N. US 31.

      Brian Larr has requested an approval to construct a 20' x 30' accessory building to replace a 20' x 20' accessory building that previously existed as a nonconforming structure prior to the deconstruction of over 50% of the replacement value. The accessory building requires a 12'6" variance from the required 25' side yard setback. The subject property is located in the Rural Estates (RE) zoning district, Custer Township, parcel 003-034-010-90, access 2544 S. Custer Rd.
