    The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold public hearings for:   

    Marlin Troyer has requested an interpretation of the Mason County Zoning Ordinance in reference to a property located in the Single Family Residential (R) zoning district, Custer Township, Section 16, E 1/2 OF SW 1/4 LYING N OF RR EXC S 225 FT OF N 300 FT OF W 175 FT SEC 16 T18N R16W 42.10 acres M/L, parcel 003-016-012-00, access 2041 W. US Hwy 10. The interpretation request, generally, is if Keeping of Animals (Section 3.19) or Outdoor Recreation (Section 17.53), apply to a proposed commercial safari that will include both farm and exotic animals. 

    Andrew Plocienniczak, Robert Moritz, and Constance Essenburg are appealing an administrative decision regarding a property located in the Recreational Residential (RR) zoning district, Summit Township, COMM AT W 1/4 COR OF SEC 14 TH N 89 DEG 49'49"E 217.86 FT ALG E-W 1/4 LINE OF SD SEC TH S 12 DEG 51'17"E 502.79 FT TO POB TH S 12 DEG 51'17"E 179.07 FT TH N 88 DEG 49'08"W 478.92 FT M/L TO THE SHORE OF LAKE MICHIGAN TH NW'LY 75 FT M/L ALG SHORLINE TH N 78 DEG 41'30"E TO POB TOG W/RIP/RTS & EASE OF RCD, SECTIONS 14 & 15, T17N R18W, 1.4 acres M/L, Parcel 014-114-031-01, access 4895 S. Lakeshore Drive. The decision being appealed is the approval of a routine permit for a dwelling to be used as a 6-person or less Adult Foster Care Small Group Home.
