In addition to regular business, the Planning Commission will:
(6:00 PM) Jawor Brothers Blueberries, Inc. is requesting a special land use permit to construct two (2) 28’ x 100’ dwellings used for farm labor/migrant housing (1-story). Each dwelling will contain two-units and have a sleeping capacity of 28 people (56 total). There will be an attached 10’ X 28’ laundry on one of the units. The request is on the following described property in the Rural Estates (RE) district: 5729 W. Meisenheimer Rd. (a new 2.7 acre parcel located on the east side of the parent parcel known as 5769 W. Meisenheimer Rd.) in the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 23, Summit Township, T17N R18W, the eastern 2.7 acres of parent parcel 014-123-001-01. The parcel is located on the south side of Meisenheimer Rd. and approximately 300’ west of Brunson Rd.
(6:00 PM) Meijer Inc. is requesting a special land use permit to establish a drive-thru pharmacy window near the southwest corner of the existing Meijer store on the following described property in the C-1 Commercial District: access 3900 W. US Hwy 10: Part of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Sec 17, Amber Township, T18N R17W, 35.10 acres M/L, parcel # 001-017-031-01 (new 2016), formerly 001-017-031-00.
(7:00 PM) Michigan American Legion is requesting a special land use permit to establish a club and outdoor recreation facility for Veterans “Wilwin”. The request is for the following described property in the Recreational Residential (RR) and Rural Estates (RE) District: 3383 E. Hawley Rd., Section 14, Eden Township, NE ¼ of Sec 14 T17N R16W, 160 A M/L (parcel # 004-014-001-00). Additional parcels included in the special land use permit (vacant land): 004-011-005-00, 004-014-002-00, 004-023-001-00, 004-013-002-00, 004-024-002-00 in Sections 11, 13, 23, 24 of Eden Township, 1050 acres M/L.
